FFL123.com, Anyone used it?

Postby 13mx » Thu Dec 08, 2011 11:54 pm

When I buy my firearms online, The guy I use as my FFL works out of his house. He only charges $15 for the transfer. I tried to get him to tell me how he got his license, but he wouldn't give me any info. I don't really blame him, that's job security.

I was looking up on how to get my FFL, and this site gets brought up a lot.

Anyone ever use the kit? Or know someone who has?

I would love to be able to have my FFL, I could stick it to the gun shops around here who sell their guns way over retail.

One LGS near me actually beats the prices of a couple of guys where I work that sell independently.
The co-workers charge a straight-up $20 over their cost (or at least that's what they say).
At least at the store I can see what I'm buying (unless its a special order). Not so with a Ind. dealer
Maybe they get volume pricing from their distributors? Not sure.
