D Day 6 JUN 1944

Postby oldmsgt » Thu Jun 06, 2013 6:39 pm

On this day 69 years ago tens of thousands of brave young men waded ashore from landing craft, parachuted from transport aircraft, and crash landed in gliders into heavily defended territory against a determined German force at Normandy. Over 9000 would not live to see the 7th of June. God bless them all. Our greatest generation, never forget....
