Sweet - Congrats!

Now there is one you don't see everyday! My neighbor has one identical to yours, but with the gold accents. His is very reliable, but does kick like a mule. Hold on to that puppy the first time you shoot it. Nice find! congrats :kickback:

Normally, a .45 ACP does not have an objectionable recoil particularly in a full size pistol/revolver. I know none of mine do, but I do not own a Taurus. It should not matter since the weight of the pistol will counteract against recoil. I have an old ugly .45 Haskell which is as heavy as a boat anchor. It is like shooting a .22.

We read so many negative things about Taurus but lately you see a lot of favorable comments in different firearm publications. How is the fit and finish? Yes, please let us know how it performs when you get the opportunity to "wring it out" with some shooting.

Congrats on your new pistol.
