S&W Model 36 Chief's Special

Some of you know I have a weakness for older Smith & Wesson revolvers. I scored this one yesterday. The appearance condition is probably in about 70%. It is in great mechanical condition and locks up tightly.

S&W has started remanufacturing this Model as one of their revolvers in the Classic Line. This one is a no dash and dates to around 1968 or 69.

I think it will clean-up nicely.

This model was the one I purchased as my first of duty carry. I think I paid about $100 back in 1968. Always liked Smiths rather than Colt.
