Anybody have any experience the Remington RM380?
I saw one in a store, pretty nice looking pistol.. Not to small, not too big...

I'd consider several other models first ... the LCP-II or the TCP, for sure.

The only 380 I've ever owned was an Accu-Tek AT-380, about thirty years ago.
It had a SA trigger and an all steel frame, and weighed 20 ounces.
It was reliable and small enough, but too heavy in pocket.
And the field strip required a hex wrench.

You might consider the Bersa Thunder 380 Conceal Carry #THUN380MLTCC for possibly less expense. About 18 ounces DA/SA 8+1 magazine. They range from about $280 to $310, but you may have to wait a while for your order to be delivered since they are sometimes hard to find.

I have an RM380. It's been excellent for back pocket. Long DAO trigger pull. I have run a variety of hollow points through it with no issues. I had several boxes of old Hornady Critical Defense from 2010, one round of which cracked off the top of the primer. I continued with a box of some other ammo, no issues. Hornady replaced my ammo. I figure this could have happened in any of my .380s.

I have been eyeing the RM380, but the takedown seems like it could be tricky...is it? :?:
