Picked up a couple of long arms recently. Both are Marlins.

One is a 336W (30-30) Remlin.

The other is a 989M2 (22LR) M1 style carbine with Monte Carlo stock.

I had a Marlin 39-A lever action .22 in Texas I bought there in 1962; used it regularly for over 40 years without a single problem, gave it to my grandson about 10 years ago. :)

One of my "bucket list" guns has always been a genuine Colt Single Action Army, but the Price tag ($1,900.00) and 4-6-month wait is out of my league. I finally settled on a Uberti Colt Single Action Army, cal. .45 Long Colt, 5-1/2" barrel, forged and color case-hardened frame, with blued cylinder, barrel, trigger guard, and backstrap. Uberti has been making this Cattleman model gun in Italy for over 20 years, and it's absolutely identical to the Colt; only took six weeks to get it, cost a little over 1/4 the price of the Colt. "Load one, skip one, load four". I'm happy with it. :D

I have an older P226... Mine is a SA/DA with a decaulker - It doesn't look like yours is the same..
It was my dad's favorite gun.. It is one of my most expensive guns.. It cost my dad's life for me to get it..
Enjoy you new Pew Pew''s
