The next thing that I would like to see from Sccy?
A nice blow-back carbine. :P

If it finally hits the market, advance "The Quadlock 380" to a forward design incorporating DA/SA blow back. Or why wait? Just buy a Bersa now for around $290.

Just curious. Why would I buy a .380 that is longer, taller, heavier, more expensive and has less capacity than a CPX2?

From my own terrific unbelievable fantastic experience, I'd prefer any Bersa over any Sccy, any day.
Reliability trumps size or caliber. Believe me. My cpx was crooked baad.
Or perhaps because DA/SA pistols are huge tremendous winners.
Shoot so much, get tired of shootin'. Amazing. Yur fired.
When yur done grabbin' it, lock her up.
Opinions will vary, bigleague (big'lee).
The uneducated are the greatest.
Who knew it was this difficult?

Not sure what you mean by forward design.
But, blow back action uses a fixed barrel, doesn't operate via tilting barrel or slide lockup, no Quadlock required.

My Bersa 380 took 500 rounds and several tweaks to become reliable. Plus, grip screws and rear sight had to be locktited, c clip broke at 600 rounds. Did I mention that 380 costs 40% more than 9mm? Meanwhile, my SCCY has been 100% reliable as has my Taurus pt111g2.

And so it goes.
Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes the cpx has wooden parts.

And sometimes, when you try to impugn an entire class of firearm based on a single anecdote, the bear eats you.

Pony Soldier wrote:CPX 3 coming soon?? Scanning the TV stations recently I hit on one program where they were testing 380 ammo. The pistol that was being fired during the test was a SCCY CPX 3. There were no "Fail to Fire", "Fail to Eject", "Fail to Feed" or any other problems associated with the pistol or tested ammo. Do you expect when we might see the release of the new "Quad Lock CPX 3" hit the market?

There was talk on the FB group that they seen some at one of the recent shows.

The industry as a whole has done a poor job of responding to the needs of women to provide "friendly" concealed carry pistols. A lot of elderly folks (i.e. I'm 76, and my wife is 68 and we both carry), and she has weakened hand/wrist strength due to past-life carpal tunnel surgery and rheumatoid arthritis, which makes racking a slide very difficult on most semi-auto pistols. She currently has a Beretta 3032 Tomcat (.32ACP), and the tilt-barrel design eliminates the need to rack the slide.

The market needs a small-sized .380 auto with a unique breakthrough design that makes it friendly to older folks, women, and anyone else who has a hard time with racking a slide. :)
