toymachine - If you go here you can download a copy of the current manual.

http://www.sccy.com/documentation

As to production info, you can get that from the ATF. All manufacturers are required to report their production and export numbers every year. Search for "firearms manufacturers export report" and you can find the reports. This is one place they're available: https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/data-statistics

Production prior to 2010 seemed to hover around 5000 pistols per year.
In 2010 SCCY produced 8641 9mm pistols.
In 2011 SCCY produced 6981 9mm pistols.
In 2012 SCCY produced 21902 9mm pistols.
In 2013 SCCY produced 43300 9mm pistols.
2014 data isn't available yet.

All production thru 2013 is domestic. No exports were reported.

That's pretty good growth.

wow those numbers rise fast, .... ordered mine the Saturday after black Friday, thru Sportsman guide, and they matched the sunday price drop to 199.99 the following Monday-----sn 257xxx, test shot 7-29-15, shipping took a while, with the ffl being closed and such, but at this price I wish a purchased two-----fired 250 rounds last Saturday, after cleaning and following the feed ramp polishing as advised here----------only problem was the alum. cased ammo, 2 or 3 needed double strike, and maybe 3 feeding issues-------------was looking at this gun maybe 2 yrs ago, as gun finally made the jump----this coming Saturday hopefully some more rounds, (brass), and maybe some sd ammo

I don’t think there’s any way to tell for certain when a particular pistol was made because SCCY doesn’t seem to be willing to tell owners that info. You can look at the ATF reports on manufacturers and find how many pistols SCCY produced in a year. And you can take the info members here provide. Using both and extrapolating from the good serial number info provided here for the first 9 months of 2015, it looks like SCCY made about 117000 pistols in 2015. The ATF report says SCCY actually made 116998 pistols in 2015. Using this info, and figuring for some growth over the past 2 years, I would guess your 482xxx pistol was made in about March or April 2017.
