Your guess is as good as anyone's. No official date. There are several online reviews of the pre-production gun if you do a search.

Where did you hear that from? I assume you mean to incorporate the Roebuck Quad Lock System.....

Perhaps retooling for the RQLS is the reason for the month-long standstill in their plastic mold dept, hmm?

That Roebuck Quad Lock System is interesting. What is so different about it that Joe was able to get a patient for it? I'm interested to see one and look into the slide at the barrel lockup.

Ah - okay. We'll see if he gets one. A patient has to be for something new or pretty different than what has been done before, an improvement is not necessarily enough to get a patient.

Held the CPX-3 during the Shot Show here in Las Vegas in Jan 2016. I was very impressed . Grip was larger than the X-1 and X-2. I have stubby hands and the whole feel was very comforting. The 10 round with the finger grip added made a large difference. My understanding was after some more testing and marketing the X-3 should be nearing final evaluation in Sept . Hopefully they meant this year .

It seems like the grip would smaller, because of no recoil thing on the back of the grip. Thickness maybe the same with double stack mag. Also do you think it is small enough for pocket carry. Looking for a 380 with less recoil and larger capacity than the little 380's. My Taurus 9mm Millenniun G2 is great for IWB but a bit to big for the pocket!

The CPX-3 isn't much different from the CPX-1 & 2 in size. From previous discussions / comments it seems like some of the parts will interchange between both models (.380 & 9mm) like the magazine, perhaps the slides and even the receivers. Any parts the pistols can share will keep the prices down for both models and simplify the manufacturing / support. All that adds up to a .380 very close to the same size as the 9mm.

The .380 market is busy. Lots of people want a pistol with less recoil than the 9mm models. This fits that group of buyers. My wife is a good example. She cannot operate the slide on my CPX-1 due to grip issues she has. She may do well with the CPX-3 like she does with her FireStorm .380. She also likes the reduced recoil of the .380 compared to the 9mm. She's typical of many users who want a pistol but not a 9mm.

We'll see haw it does.
