Yeah, same here. I've seen pics, read articles and stuff. Just not in production, I guess, yet. Actually based on what I'd seen, I thought they were in production. So, it can't be that far off.

It was in the 2016 catalog too.

I hope it's coming soon but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not released till after SCCY moves to TN next year.

"April" was what SCCY CS said in the email they sent to me in Jan 2016 to answer my question "When?". Image

With those specs I'm unsure why people want the CPX-3 to come out. It's almost the exact same size as the other CPX's, which make it overly large for a .380 pistol for CCW and it costs about $100 more than other, proven, .380's already on the market. At best it can say it has 2-3 rounds more than most other .380's.

There is no compelling reason to carry a CPX-3 over a CPX-1 or CPX-2 that I can see here.

Yup, I'm gonna get the EAA Witness Pavona .380 from Bud's instead of waiting for the CPX-3 to come out. Like you said, the CPX-1 & 2 are better suited for me to carry.

I'd steer clear of Buds...

I ordered several guns from Bud's since 2010 and they're all right. Bud's used to have the 6-month interest free financing option by GE Capital that I liked a lot but they no longer offer that option now. I ordered 2 handguns from Bud's last month (4/17) and they're all great. The other online place I trust is Davidson's Gun Genie. Bud's normally has better prices, though.
