But damn, move on! Makes me want to avoid this forum all together.

I posted a comment like yours a few weeks ago. My two CPX-2's have been good guns for me. Granted, I have only about 450-500 rounds through my two year old one, and maybe 150 rounds through my newest one, but I have not experienced all the issues that I have read about, on some people's posts.

It's not like I think I would be able to go to pistol competition after pistol competition, run a few thousand rounds through my SCCY's, and the pistols not start to shoot themselves "loose", with walking pins or other issues. I do not believe SCCY engineers designed their pistols for thousands of rounds, before something needed attention. I own two Hi Point pistols, and the 995TSFG carbine, and they have ran well for me too...I did not buy them for a 20,000 round gun, but I did buy them as reasonably priced firepower, that if I took care of them and did not shoot the snot out of them, then they would be there for me and would work.

Don't leave the forum Mark38090, just because a couple of guys had a bad experience and sold off their SCCY, but still seem to find time to come on here and crap all over the brand...screw em.

Thing is you still need some negative stuff as a service to others. Some people still get shipping labels and some don't. Some ship their guns off and they are fine and some of us literally paid to have it shipped back just to break right out the box. If I came here 1st, I would have held off on buying the gun but since I already invested too much I kinda try to fix what I can at home before I go though the whole lifetime warranty process that took 2 weeks of refusing the gun even after prior calls it was on the way. Some people have had stellar guns and I'm not envious of that at all but when it comes to online forums you won't see the happy folks outweigh the misfortune the others. The reality of someone liking a product and actually seeing that online forum out to say they like it is far less than someone who has multiple issues and trying to find a fix or in this case vent. Moderation car forums, I totally get most of the my car is broke posts and I'm literally there with a clipboard file of responses tailored to that issue and the obsolete part replacement steps.

I agree with what you're saying, but there seem to be a few that are simply hanging around to bash. No post of any value just bashing. I'm all for people posting good and bad experiences because that's what helps make a decision to purchase. However, calling a company liars, Makin references to an owners weight, and etc just make it a place people avoid. My brand new Sccy won't feed anything from either magazine, yeah it's disappointing, but there isn't a company that makes anything that doesn't have its issues. I've bought stale oreos and flat coke but i don't spew hate and disfavor for everyone else forever.

Agree with you Mark. Constructive criticism is fine. BTW haven't seen you on your range report. How does your mag compare to mine?

I tried to post this before but it never posted. This thread deserves

a thank you. I joined the forum some years ago and it was very civil. People helped me out on several occasions. Hopefully, I helped out at least one person. I don't know exactly when but the tone went from civil/helpful to nasty. I used to log in every day to see what's new. When it got nasty, I avoided reading threads because it was inevitable how it would go. I'm really looking forward to a return to civility here..really. Thanks for making a positive change.

I've had my sccy cpx1 since 2009 had a few issues nothing drastic, few failed to feed or eject no big deal, i blame tight tolerance but i think that's a good thing. After a few 100 rounds it gets worked out you need to keep it clean and lubed.

Bought mine last year, couldn't get through a magazine without a couple of FTE's. I tried all different types of ammo, polished the feed ramps, nothing helped. I called customer service, told them what was going on. They sent me a new slide assembly and an RA. 500 flawless rounds later I'm happy.

I have that same exact thought!

What a pleasant surprise to login here to day and see that parkerd has been banned. No matter what you posted, no matter what your experience; it was wrong parkerd knew better, and you were a fool. What a troll. He really brought this forum down to a crappy level. Glad he's gone.

There are still a couple of more that need to go. I just quit coming to the site because they dominate everything with nothing but negative BS. I'm still hoping it can get cleaned up so I can come by more often. My Sccy was not perfect out of the box but a couple of phone calls and some parts swapped out and now it is a happy and snappy shooter. I really think if you can't get your weapon worked out by Sccy you have serious communication and social skills deficiencies.
