I just bought my 2nd CPX-2 last night from sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com for $199.99 w/free shipping. But that deal is only for a few more days.

Howdy and welcome from NC. Glad you found us.

How much is your transfer fee going to be?

Fees around here are high. My wife and I have each got a shotgun coming that will cost us $50 each in transfer fees.

BTW, thanks for the welcome, Getvicious. Yeah, I thought my guy is a little high, but he's open 6 days a week. Here in my area (Northern NY) there are some part time FFLs that will charge much less, but I can end up waiting on them a little longer than I'd like. Gotta get that new toy asap, ya know?

You'd think the FFL would give a discount when you have more than one at a time come in. I just bought 2 Bersas at the same time and still had to pay $30.00 each. But I guess he's still got to go through the same song and dance for each purchase, regardless of whether they are together or not.

Here in Houston, TX, many FFL's charge around $20 with the License to Carry (LTC) and $30 without the LTC. I plan to get another CPX-2 with either DE or grey frame. I love these SCCY pistols.

I agree TXsccy, they aren't too bad looking at all, especially with the addition of rubber grips.

The 1st reason I fell in love with it is because it fits my hand perfectly - It's the only pistol that I can draw on point every time - no fumbling, no readjusting. If it's in my hand, it is ready to shoot.

The next thing that really sold me was that it carries extremely well. My other pistols shoot great, but they don't fit my hand as perfectly as the CPX-2 and they certainly don't conceal as well (although some are smaller, like my Bersa Thunder 380). Also, the Sccy is very accurate for a self-defense piece.

They are, however, a "lower cost" gun and may have some quality control issues that need to be worked through, but for the above reasons and @ around $200.00, I have no complaints. It's now my ccw of choice.... and so I'm waiting patiently for my 2nd CPX-2 to arrive - sniper gray w/stainless .....

I agree with you about the SCCY great grip. It fits my hand perfectly, too. These are my two SCCY's, CPX-1 and CPX-2 that I bought in 2/2014 and 4/2017, respectively. I will get one in grey or DE some time soon.
