Are you going to chrono the .355 boolit?
My CPX-2 came up short ~ 150 fps with various ammo.

wrench--- i`ll try -- i have a chronograph ( hope it works at indoor range ! ) . i`ve loaded up jacketed bullets , powder coated , and cast bullets in the 95=100 grn. range with
3.5 grns of unique powder( should be somewhere around 850 fps ) . plus i have 4 different brands of factory ammo . would be interesting to find out how fast they go out of a short barrel. your low readings are probably due to short barrel on cpx , and ammo manufacturer uses 5 `` test barrel.

Cool, what size cast bullets are you using...355,.356 or .357?

wrench -- .356 diameter eggelston munitions 98 grn. powder coated round nose and lee tl356-95 flatnose 95 gr . bullets .
federal primers and 3.5 grains of unique powder . going up to 4 grns next reload. chronograph would not work with dim lighting in
indoor range , but all my reloads functioned well and were accurate . see my testing in range reports ---

Does anyone have a side by side comparison of the CPX3 next to a LCP, TCP, P3AT or similar 380?

not me , but i can tell you its bigger and thicker than any of those cause its a double stack . but a lot easier to shoot
accurately because of good sights and grip ergonomics . my brother had a keltec p3at ( ruger lcp ) we shot for awhile .it was awful almost nonexistent sights ,not very accurate, snappy recoil ,etc. he sold it pretty quick-----------do have some comparisons to keltec pf9 9mm . almost same size just a little wider .

Did you notice on "Gallery of Guns" that until today the MSRP price on the CPX 3 was listed as $229.99.. But this morning it shows MSRP $269.99. Still no inventory shows in stock.

pony soldier--------------volusia top gun was the only place i could buy or find a cpx-3 regardless of price . none of the big distributors
or retailers had any ---grab a gun ,buds , davidsons , . on slick guns lots of people advertise them but none have any --------
i saw grymwish`s original post at the first of this thread and gave them a call--and lucked out

I have enjoyed looking at the pics of your new SCCY 380 ....
I jave owned a couple of SCCY 9mm models and really enjoyed them .. But I traded both of them off ...
But .. Having said that .. It wasn't because I didn't like them !!!

I have been waiting for this little pistol from when I first read about it ..,
Im glad they made it smaller than the 9mm models ..
And the fact its 10+1
And that is made by SCCY , a company that stands behind their products....

msrp is listed on sccys website as $ 229.00 . i don`t think i would pay more than that , and just wait till the price settles down .
there are people on slickguns wanting as much as $ 290.00 but they don`t have any anyhow---

Not much discussion for a while on this topic and many other items. What say you? Or is this forum on the downside?
Talk it up folks.

for my part i`m working on getting a second cpx-3 from ` volusia top gun ` .they are selling for $220.00 plus $ 25.00 shipping
to your ffl dealer of choice. i don`t know how i can give this gun a better endorsement than buying another one . they are still the
only place i can find that has any . the`volusia top gun ` store is just down the street from the sccy factory in Daytona beach, fla.
ask for palmer jabaly , she will get you one of your choice ------------
