from the https://www.americanrifleman.org/articl ... -3-pistol/ article:

Although the grip frame's width is the same as the 9 mm models (1.10"), the front-to-back distance has been reduced by 0.25". That may not sound like much but to those with smaller hands the difference is immediately noticeable...

when will SCCY wake up and ditch the idiotic, annoying, useless, rigid and inflexible, so-called "RE-COIL CUSHION" that only serves to increase the circumference of the already large CPX 2 grip, but also provides sharp edges to increase the discomfort?

i agree the cushion is useless ,but i have big hands and it feels good to have more to hang on to . have you considered cutting and sanding
the cushion off , or at least sanding off the sharp edges you don`t like ? ( it`s not like you`re butchering a colt python after all ) i`ve done this on several polymer guns to dehorn the frame.
a slip on rubber grip sleeve might help but you want thinner -------a piece of bicycle inner tube works well too .

At least one person has cut down their grip to remove the cushion.

It's not the blast that kills you - It's the tumble to the bottom of the 800 foot crater.....

john z sorry to get off topic --thanks `getvicious ` thats exactly what i was thinking . i like the stippling and the way he modified the mag base to let it add
a little additional length ,but not stick out . this inspires me to add some grip tape to my cpx-2 . speaking of grip frames-- i would
like a clear one .they make all those colors . how much trouble could it be to not add pigment to a batch ?? . camo would be popular
too i think .
