Yes we know that short barrels are slow.
How fast does your CPX spits them out?
Fast trigger fingers not included.

I guess a "Bump Grip" wouldn't work so well on a DAO pistol!

Why not? You just have to "double" bump each time.

Regarding the speed comment. Most mfgs list the rated speed using a 4" barrel. Every inch less reduces that number by 80 fps. So you lose about 5 or 6 percent. At speeds usually around 1200 fps or more it doesn't really make a difference.

I get around 1,050 fps with factory loaded 115 to 124 grain bullets or reloads. So yeah you do lose a little velocity with the shorter barrel.
