Had to replace the front sight on my cpx 2 after it fell out of my car door onto asphalt, after putting it back together the slide is jammed and will only move a 1/2" or so cant get the slide back of or the pin back in. Any ideas before I ship it off to Daytona?

This is a problem that happens, It has to do with the Guide Rod shifting (Probably when it was dropped.

Look up inside the magazine well and see if the recoil rod has come off the rear stay. If so, use a dowel of screwdriver to re-seat it. The jolt from dropping the pistol may have caused the rod to shift off the desired position a bit and is causing the problem.
