Howdy and welcome from NC. I've read some good comments by a few people who have bought those. I don't have any over-travel and don't have any issue with the reset. I've shaped my OEM trigger so it's comfortable and has no sharp edges or points. So, I don't see the need - but others have and reported liking that trigger.

Everyone try's to make an inexpensive pistol better than it was designed to be, truth is the trigger on my cpx 2 is comparable to any dao trigger I have tried in sub compact size , seems it would be a waste of cash to mess with something that already works as well as the rest of the design allows, same for the recoil spring . If it isn't broke you don't need to fix it. I did notice at the shop that the cpx 1 with the safety its trigger was not as tight as the cpx 2 and I tried several. I liked the feel of the cpx2 much better. Your cash could find a better use by sending it to me :D

I installed mine after getting it and some other parts Cerakoted gold. Feels really comfortable. I have added a pretravel screw to the trigger since these pics.

In the case of my SCCY, I have always had a lot of pre-travel. When Ross Kirk at RTK Strategic designed the Storm trigger, the SCCY he was using did not have any creep/pre-travel. So the Storm trigger is sold with just an over travel adjustment screw.

With mine having the 2nd screw added, I have eliminated the extra travel as much as I could and still have a functioning trigger. The reach is now shorter than the OEM arrangement.

I have also done this with an OEM trigger and had similar results.

I got the RTK because I wanted to be able to get a colored trigger, I was also getting one for my P11, and Jeri and Ross Kirk are very good people to deal with.
