Call Me Crazy....I'm starting to see a pattern

Postby mikeMAGNUM » Wed Feb 18, 2015 5:42 am

Hello All,
By definition Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.....

Clean and litely lubricate CPX2.
Find time to go to the Glades with CPX2 and varius types of 9mm ammo and shoot n see targets.
Load 4 mags with 11 rounds each.
Shoot from 7-10 yds as fast as I can acquire center of target sight picture.
Repeat above until all ammo has been expended. (usually 100 to 175 rounds)

Results so far after Three sessions:
NO FTF, NO FTE, MAGS DROP FREE
Pistol runs as smooth as any I own ( Ed Brown, Kimber, S&W,Ruger,Beretta ect.)
LOTS of Bright Yellow holes in the Black portion of the targets.

After policing the area... Old guy with a beard and ponytail walking back to the truck with a Big Grin on his face.
Staying focused.....Always diligently vigilant

That's definitely a good pattern to experience. 8)

It's good to have that certain assured grin. Like my being 70, still too young to die but not young enough to run away quickly from a negative situation. You have practiced a remedy for such an event.

If that old guy keeps hanging around while you shoot... call the authorities.

Got outta work early, remembered I had 2 boxes of Federal 115gr FMJ still in the truck so I drove past the house and headed out to the Glades for a quick fourth session with the CPX2.
A little different this time.
Same spot, same shoot n see targets @ 10 yds., same four mags loaded with eleven rounds each time.
Fired as fast as I could acquire a good sight picture. But....
This time the groups were tighter and I was able to get on target quicker.
LOVE those new TRACTION GRIPS :D
This makes the round count right at 500 with No Hiccups of any kind.
Serial no. on this CBFDE pistol is 177xxx. Born 11/2014
I'm seriously considering buying another one before the LOML puts her Pro CDP II back in the safe and grabs this one when I'm in the shower and not paying attention
