Not sure if I will put more rounds through this or not. Considering heading to the store to trade it.

Not a happy camper. If I can't trust it I won't carry it, or even keep it.

Don't rack the slide, just use the "Slide Release". Try that and please let us know if you still have to tap the rear to seat the ammo.

I apologize to everyone that read my last post. Bad day and I should have thought more before I pressed submit.

I just finished 60 rounds down range and the cpx functioned fine. I had one delay feed but that could have been me not following through on the shot, Might have limp wristed it a little.

Pins stayed in place and all casings ejected fine. So all good there.

Wwb 115 fmj, some liberty hollow points 115 gr, 124 gr AE fmj, and some Sig Sauer V crown. All did fine.

Again, Sorry for my rant yesterday

If you want a fun gun to shoot.
Try a 995ts.

Picked up a ruger lc9s. 300 rounds down range with no issues. Haven't decided if I will keep the cpx or not.

He told me they replaced the extractor, the barrel, and the guide rod as well as putting new pins in and adjusting the magazine's.

So I took it apart to clean it. First thing I notice is the slide is worn...not new. Called them back...sccy said they put at least 20 rounds through the gun. The wear I see is way more than 20 rounds worth. And he stated that they leave it dirty so I know they fired it...say what??

Is sccy repairing guns with reconditioned parts?????? (all those returned slides ect.....)

Well....the CPX-2 has moved down the road. Just could not trust it or SCCY. Ruger LC9S is new EDC.

I can't understand why sccy doesn't improve their slippery frame pins ... it's sick, but curable, one way or another.

A Witness for the range and an LC9s for carry ... that's a nice pair ... congrats.

Thanks. Both shoot very well. Still need to pick some some additional mags for each. But I am quite pleased with both. Now to figure out what the next will be

have over 1000 rounds thru my CPX.......not a single issue of any kind(FTF, FTE, stovepipe, etc...). use any ammo that i can find cheap(including some locally available reloads).....use Lucas gun oil to lube it after a total cleaning....and, keep the feed ramp polished using 600 grit wet/dry(real lightly) on a pencil eraser..............

Mine seem to be running well too. I just don't understand why SCCY seems to be like Taurus, in that one guy can get a great one, and the next guy gets a dud...damn strange. :o

I took my GK's out to the range a few weeks ago.
My Grand daughter was hitting center mass from 20 yards...limp wristing.
I wanted to correct her shooting style.
Then I thought what the beep she was doing very good why interupt........

Right! Here's mine...shoots like a champ!

Ragged holes at 30 yards. I know for sure I could hit a man at 125, had no problems hitting a 10" gong at 100...over and over again. 8)

Mr.&Mrs. Kringle left me a few clams.

So I went out and got a 5 MOA open red-dot.
I'm very curious about battery life with it left on 24-7.
The count down starts....
