Is this common?

Postby ursamajor » Sat Mar 11, 2017 1:42 am

I had to delay sending in, as we went on vacation. But turnaround and receipt was less than a week from when I sent it.

So I took it out, and ran 200 rounds of federal 115gr FMJ. And I pushed the rounds through like I was auditioning for John Wick 3.

I should add that I put a 20lbs Wolff Recoil Spring Set in.

Not a single failure. And since my issue was with the takedown pin, the gun was sent in dirty. It also came back dirty. I didn't clean it, nor oil it prior to taking it out.

My faith in this gun has been restored.

I very recently had a take down pin issue fixed by SCCY on a NIB CPX2. (Mine was bent.)

Anyway, I just boxed it up and shipped it at the local UPS store. I certainly didn't tell him it was a pistol. I had the gun fixed and back 9 days later, via FedEx. Had to have a 21yo home to sign for it.

It happened to me. I called CS and they sent a new one out to me. Problem fixed quickly. I was still able to get the pin out and clean the gun.
