Yeoman's Range Reports

Postby Yeoman » Mon Mar 27, 2017 9:05 am

I sneaked in a quick range session on Saturday and shot my Steyr M40, Ruger 22/45, and my SCCY CPX-2. I'm a little more accustomed to the Steyr and the Ruger so I mainly shot them at 20 yards. I shot the CPX-2 at Tueller range, just trying to get used to the DA trigger pull. I got 19/20 on the paper on magazine 3 & 4, and all but 4 on the bullseye. As you can see below I was pretty consistently shooting to the right of the bullseye. I'll have to try shooting from a rest to see if I need to move the rear sight or if it's just me. No failures of any kind and a lot less recoil than my Steyr 40 cal.

Good job, they all would have hit the bad guy.
It's not the blast that kills you - It's the tumble to the bottom of the 800 foot crater.....
