Range time

Great gun, BAD trigger, real bad, would not carry for self defense, Great for 3 day bag walk in the woods, I can shoot well, this thing had me from the first shot. way too long of pull for any gun. I thought my Star Super B had a bad trigger I was wrong. I do like the gun made real nice.

I agree on the trigger. BUT, I have started to carry it because its not a range gun. It's not fun to shoot but it is accurate and reliable. I have others that I enjoy shooting but don't work for pocket carry.

I carry the SCCY because it's got a smooth and constant trigger. Very accurate.

The first handgun that I ever shot was a .32 revolver.

I went 4 years in the Marines (with a brief tour in Vietnam) and about 4.5 years on a police dept and never fired a shot in anger...and I try to remember to thank God every day for that. But one of my buddies stayed on the police dept until he retired. He was in two shooting incidents during his career and one day we were discussing various triggers on guns. He told me that when things 'hit the fan', it happened so fast that he not only didn't notice the trigger, he was so pumped full of adrenaline that he didn't even notice the gun blast from the firing until after it was all over.

Personally, I like the SCCY's trigger. It could be a little bit shorter but I am an old 'revolver guy' and it reminds me a lot of a double-action revolver type of trigger. So, I just prefer to think of my CPX2 as an 10+1 shot revolver.

How many rounds have you run through the pistol? My trigger smoothed up noticeably after cleaning, lubing and a few hundred rounds. Still long as Pinocchios nose but smoother.
