Saw it... avoided buying any because I have about 1500 rounds about to ship right now. Got some Aguila FMJ and JHP and some Federal AE FMJ. All for under 36 cents per round.

I put about 100 rounds of the aluminum cased CCI stuff through my CPX-2 with no issues, though. Have another 900 rounds at home. :)

Not meant to be a big stash. I just intend to shoot more often than I do. I don't want to keep this stuff around for years because I think the chances of misfires will be higher. If I had it my way, I'd go to the range every weekend or at least every other weekend. Seems to only work out to about every other month, though. I just need to make a habit of stopping at the range after work sometimes, although I do enjoy shooting with others more than by myself.

I agree, its more fun with someone else. Ill be glad when when Wal Mart in my area starts stocking again so I can just start picking up a box every now and then.

Hey guys...just received a couple boxes of these (CCI Blazer Aluminum 115gr FMJ). Haven't shot them yet, but I've noticed they seem lighter in weight than brass cartridges. Anyone else noticed that?

Also would like to know if anyone has had issues with the aluminum-cased ammo. Do they cycle OK? I've heard that steel-cased ammo is not recommended for the SCCY, but I've heard nothing yet about the aluminum rounds.

Thanks...stay safe.

I've shot aluminum cased before and had no problems. Went to the range yesterday to shoot 6 different brands of ammo including reloads.
No issues whatever with any of the brands. ( Reload, Blazer brass, PPU, Fiochi, Remington and Magtech) All 115 gr.
