I've ran five rounds of ARX's through my cpx-1 just to see if they cycled well.
They did btw and seemed to perform well.

From all the videos I've seen they sure are interesting. I haven't hit all the gun stores in Twin Falls, ID yet or when we go to Boise next month.

Pay no attention to the manufacturers testing. They tested with a 5" barrel which is not applicable for our CPX pistols with 3" barrels.

Check out ShootingTheBull410's test.

Ammo Quest: Polycase ARX Inceptor test in .380 ACP and 9mm

He does great objective ammo tests with 3" barrels so they are directly applicable to the CPX.

He had very nice things to say about the 9mm Luger round and the .380 ACP round. His one comment was about the very light weight and how light weight bullets can veer off line in the gel or flesh. He also said his observed shots didn't do that to a large amount. All in all, he liked these a lot.

Based on his testing I would like to get some to try them myself, if I can find them locally or for free shipping. In my experience paying shipping for ammo normally erases any cost savings.

I picked up some of the PolyCase Ruger ARX ammo the other day at Cabela's in 9mm Luger and .380 ACP. I fired 5 from my CPX today. Performed well. One thing I noticed was the recoil seemed reduced. I know that's a subjective thing but IMHO, the 80 grain bullet does give less perceived recoil. I like how they functioned and felt when fired. I'm carrying them now.

Have you fired any of that 56gr ARX thru your JA-380 yet?
Did it function OK, and did the felt recoil seem reduced from other 90gr .380 ACP loads?
What was your overall impression of the ARX 380?
- thanks

I have not yet. I need to test it in both my JA-380 and my wife's Firestorm .380. Not sure when I'll be able to do that. Unfortunately real life has reared it's ugly head and is screwing up everything lately. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get back out to shoot. Hopefully within a few weeks. I'll be sure to post my results.

I use the .380 Polycase ammo in a Beretta Pico and NAA Guardian. I switched over to it exclusively in carry firearms, although it's a bit pricey for practice and range use. I haven't heard of anyone having feeding problems in any gun. Just wish I could get it in .32. I had to get it by mail, as local shops don't carry it yet.
