Here's my $12 belt slide holster from Walmart. IWB or OWB, right or left side. Fits gun perfectly and good retention. Also fits my J-frame .38 spl.

Add the http://www.bulldogcases.com to the list. Check out LMH-SZ (auto-small lazer model). Available online, got mine at http://www.cabelas.com ($39.93 retail) Their part number is 03687552. Attached are pics with firearm in the holster. Nice thumb snap to keep it in the holster.

Here is my $0.02

I have to recommend Alien Gear Holsters.

http://aliengearholsters.com/

Good prices, comfortable fit and customer support almost as good as SCCY.

Hope that helps.

I was at the Wanenmacher Tulsa Gun Show today and talked with Randy Hughes. he has holster models for the CPX-1 and CPX-2 with and without the Armalaser sight. I showed him the Laserlyte laser sight for the SCCY. I have a feeling that he's going to add it to his product line as soon as he can get the molds made. The black leather version is $40 and the tan horsehide version is $50. His website is http://www.shepherdleather.com.

Just Received

Postby dlb » Mon Oct 05, 2015 3:08 pm

my new "Atom" from Clinger Holsters I got it on sale with an additional discount code - $22.95 with shipping

Fit: pretty good - there is a decent click on insert/draw - the mold IS for the slide release WITH the over-mold - which is good, cause that's what I have

Finish: it looks real nice, carbon fiber look Kydex. I found one inside edge to the Kydex that i chose to sand down a burr on.

Wear: cant say yet, all I've done so far is move the belt clip down to the lower notch so i get more grip above the belt line. Will add notes on wear and comfort after a few days

So I had the opportunity to wear it for a few hours last night

VERY very comfortable, the clip by the trigger instead of by the slide pulls the grip in against me - very littl print, if any.

I have 3 observations:
- i kinda wish the kydex on the back went up to top of the slide
- the clip fits great on one of my belts, but wont really fit on my other which is 1/4 inch wider - I will have to see if they have a bigger one.
- i may try to flare the outer lip at the top out just a bit - make a little 'funnel' to assist with re holster.

Out of curiosity I went through my holsters and found that some worked and some didn't work. I have a S&W SD9VE that I use a Fobus SWM&P/40 for that looked remarkably close so I decided to check it for fit with the CPX-2 and found that it fits perfectly without any modifications to it. Trigger guard locking is perfect and gun is secure. I detest having to have a bunch of different leather so I cut corners whenever I can. I have carried this combination regularly and not had a problem with it. The Fobus of the Diamondback doesn't fit at all because the reach is totally wrong and would need modification if I were to want to use it. I found that the CPX-2 carries in the same on the belt slide holster I use for the SD9VE too without any modification.

I picked my CPX-2 up from a gun show yesterday and there were two companies there that make SCCY specific holsters, Bullseye and N82 tactical. Bullseye is the one I went with and it was molded right there in front of me. I picked up one of the OWB, but i intend to get the N82 IWB soon. If you get to go to a gun show, look for Bullseye, they give a good discount at the shows and have a ton of OWB patterns to choose from.

I will upload a photo as soon as I can shrink the file.
