Okay, the mag latch slot actually looks like it's in the right place, the problem is the mag body doesn't start tapering in until too high up, close to the feed lips. At least that's what it looks like (yes, I know, you could have told me that, and probably did, if I had taken the initiative to search a bit more. Oh well, now the info is here, too.) No major harm, I learned something for myself and got another mag for the "misc. gun stuff" collection. Just maybe, I helped someone else avoid making the same mistake.

On a separate note, looks like the 30rd S&W 59 mag should fit my Lorcin pretty good, once I cut a new latch slot in it.

I received two 17-rd 5900 mags early this week. After I measured and modded them, they appear to work fine in the SCCY. They sold on the following day.

I don't like the 30 rd S&W mags. They don't fit right. I use a XD 9 mag instead.

Do you have a 15rd or 17rd magazine that will fit in a SCCY CPX-2 and S&W Models 915 and 5906?

I have a Kel-Tec P-11 and these two S&W Models. I like the ability to carry extra magazines that can be use in both the Kel-Tec P-11 and these Smiths. The current 17rd magazine designed for the Smiths will not work in the Kel-Tec P-11, but the 15rd does.

Hello! Just got my Cpx-1 today and am eagerly reading all these threads. Very interested in a longer magazine as I have large hands. I think a magazine about an inch longer would fit me perfect. What size extended magazine should I look for? Or is there a large baseplate I can get for my ten round magazines?

A 15-round magazine should suit you fine if that's the length of extension you need.

I'll stick to the factory magazines because they aren't that expensive from "Timberline Products" on eBay. They are $20.50 plus $4 shipping and handling with the magazines arriving wishing less than a week.
