Grip cusion

Postby tnwulf0513 » Mon Mar 02, 2015 12:40 pm

I recently purchased a cpx-1. Having not fired a handgun since ohhh somewhere in 1969 please consider me a complete novice.
I am having a small issue with the safety recess.. It is beating the crap out of my thumb  I was wondering if there is some way to cushion the outcropping on the frame to help prevent this. Or at least reduce it somewhat. Thanks your help.

Many people have filed / sanded / ground it down.

If it really becomes an issue - call S - they can convert it to a no-safety CPX2 - but they my change some nominal fee
