Thinking about polishing the slide, maybe color fill the lettering on the grip.

That looks great! Did you use their camo paint with Fusion technology? Did you have to sand it or something else to prep for the paint?
I ask because I need to paint a purple one.

Thanks for any advice and again the pistol looks great, good job!

what i did---pull guts from gun- wash "grip" with soap and water -dry hair dryer- three quick coats- 20 min later slap it back together - krylon fusion worked great but it takes 7 days to cure i do have some rub wear all in all it came out fine--TIP more coats wait 24 hrs

Check out this change.

Process I used after disassembly:

Clean with scrub pad and mineral spirits and rise with water (frame will be left looking a little chalky white)
Warm frame with heat gun slightly
Dust coat of Krylon
Repeat heating and dust coat every 15 minutes until full coverage (for me, 5 coats)
2 coats of Krylon matte clear coat with heating in between coats
Let hang for full 24 hours
Reassemble and check fit of all parts
No shooting for a week to give paint time for full cure.

I will keep you updated on wear. I think it is a good finish but I don't expect it to last forever. May try a different color next time...
