I, like a lot of people think the trigger has to much travel and pull, (@ almost 9 lbs)
However, on the CPX-2, this is the safety. I bought this weapon for my wife as a carry.
For that reason, I’m probably not going to lighten the trigger or the travel, instead I’m teaching her technique
and trigger control. For slow long range distance accuracy, I added 2 dots on the serial # area (back) of the weapon, I also painted the top of the trigger, line those up, get in n target, fire. For me, (I emphasize) this helps on accuracy. The dots are
right before trigger break. **This technique requires some practice on dry-firing before you go live. The trigger at this position is actually better than my kimber. It takes up around 3/4 of the trigger pull and eliminates most finger movement/torque. I don’t recommend this for everyone or a high stress situation. It’s for the range, for the most part.
