From Gunssavelives.net:

"Molly Snyder, a Target spokeswoman, said the retailer will not post signs at its stores asking people not to bring guns inside. “It is not a ban,” she said. “There is no prohibition.”

She said the company decided to make this statement after hearing from people on all sides of this issue.

So, in short, absolutely nothing has changed."

Just remember... If asked to leave, then politely leave...
Otherwise you are trespassing and trespassing with a firearm usually carries a higher charge with it..

Don't blame target. Blame those idiots that open carry rifles in stores and restaurants terrorizing people. target just did what they thought they had to do and that was make their customers feel safe. Let's face it a majority of people do not carry. Target knows this, and they don't need our business.

I really do believe "those idiots" mentioned above are liberals wanting to give responsible
CC'ers like us a bad rap. Why else would people do this. Whenever they do this it is news and news that doesn't help responsible citizens. I'd be willing to bet good money they are just doing this to sway voters and regular people against the 2nd Amendment and against responsible armed citizens & that every one of them votes Democrat.

What do you think?

The good thing about this is that Target its not going to put up signs basically they're saying concealed people carry away. They just had to make a stink about guns to make non gun people feel "safe" in their stores.

Being as I have not shopped at Target for years, for me personally what they do with/in their stores is of little concern to me. :D

My thoughts on this; I really don't think those people ( the people who brandish long rifles & open display/carry as a challenge ) are for the 2nd. Amd. I think they are liberals attempting to hijack our rights by these displays. I doubt anyone has followed up with them who knows, but this is my gut feeling. Think about it, CC permit holders are pretty much all law abiding, we (even the younger generation) respect the rights of others and we don't want to do anything to jeopardize our 2nd Amd rights. These people don't seem to care.

What do you think?
